Properties: colorless and transparent oily liquid with slight odor, soluble in water, benzene and acetone.
Uses: used for preparing esters, plastic plasticizers, pharmaceuticals, painting and as solvents.
Packaging: galvanized iron drums or tank cars shall be used for transportation. Collision is prohibited during storage and transportation. They shall not be stored and transported together with oxidants, natural goods and acids.
